How It Works
Getting started is simple
There’s no paperwork to fill out. We just ask for a couple of details so we can serve you well — and your personal information is never shared.
Come by
Visit 500 Market Street, across from Friday Harbor Marketplace, on any service day.
Say hello
Share your first and last name and the number of people in your household.
Shop
Choose the groceries that work for your household, from pantry staples to fresh produce.
Come back
Return any service day, as often as you need. We’re here for you.
Ways to Get Food
Three ways we serve
Shop in person
Walk our shelves and pick out what you need, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11:30am to 2pm.
Order online
Place your order online, then pick it up on Thursday between 12 and 2pm. Quick, easy and ready when you arrive.
Place an online orderSummer Nutrition Program
A fun summer starts with good nutrition! From June through August, families pick up summer meals on Tuesdays, 11:30am to 1pm.

Service hours
Thursdays are for online-order pick-up only. In winter, please check for closures — we follow the San Juan Island School District’s weather closures.

Who can use the food bank?
Everyone is welcome. If you need food, come by. We are an equal opportunity provider.
What do I need to bring?
Just your first and last name and the number of people in your household. There are no income forms.
How often can I come?
Come any service day, as often as you need.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your personal information is not shared.
What if the weather is bad?
We close whenever the San Juan Island School District closes for weather. If schools are closed, so are we.
How does online ordering work?
Place your order through our online ordering page, then pick it up on Thursday between 12 and 2pm.
